Grandparent Scam

Regina Police need your help to catch a suspect believed to be involved in a grandparent scam. The scam has a grandparent receiving a frantic phone call from a younger family member, pleading for them to send money to help with things like posting bail, covering lawyer fees, to pay hospital bills, or because they allegedly hurt somebody during an accident. This suspect is believed to be involved in the most recent grandparent scams in the city of Regina. They actually retrieved the money from the senior’s residence directly. If you know who this person is, call Crime Stoppers.
