Arson

The incident happened during the early-morning hours of May 3, on the 49 hundred block of First Avenue North. At around quarter to 5, Regina police and fire arrived on scene to discover the Elks club building was on fire. For seven hours crews battled the blaze but in the end the building was completely destroyed. An investigation by the Regina fire department has determined it was the result of arson. Police have few leads, the night before around 9 o’clock a four door mid-nineties silver sedan was parked close to the building. It’s unknown if the occupants of this vehicle were involved in the fire, but police would like to talk to them.
