You're looking at equipment valued at over $200,000: two Kubota excavators and a skid steer. Police believe they were stolen during a fraud. It happened March 12 2021, someone claiming to be from a home building business in Ontario requested to rent three large pieces of equipment from a rental place here in the city. The suspect said they're going to start a large construction project, needed items delivered to a vacant lot in the 4300 block of Wild Rose Drive in Regina payment was made by credit card and completed over the phone, the equipment was delivered to the address and never returned as per the agreement. Since then all attempts to locate the equipment from the suspect have been unsuccessful. It is believed this was a scam from the start and none of the information provided by the renter is accurate.
