The incident happened on March 2nd, 2019 between the afternoon hours of 3:30 to 4:30. An elderly man was contacted by someone claiming to be a relative who asked if he could visit. Once the suspect arrived at the elderly man’s residence, he told a story about having his truck stolen from a Regina hotel, and that he needed money to feed his family. The suspect convinced the elderly victim to come to the bank with him to cash a check, they jumped into a silver four door car that had two passengers already in it, a male and female beloved to be younger than the suspect. The group drove to a bank on the five hundred block of University Drive where victim cashed the check and then withdrew money. The suspect then convinced the elderly victim to withdraw more cash from a bank card after which he was driven back home.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his 50’s wearing glasses and a Nike hat with Curly hair sticking out the back. He had a leather bomber style jacket, designer blue jeans, and tan couple red shoes.
