The incident happened on August the 12th, 2020, at around 4:40 in the morning on the two thousand block of Rose street. A man approaches a mattress that was resting against the dumpster and proceeds to light it on fire. He then leaves the scene. The fire was strong enough that the Regina Fire Department is called, and has to distinguish the blaze. The suspect is described as a man wearing a black hat, a black t-shirt with yellow writing on the chest, green camouflage shorts that were well below his knees, and white socks. He was also wearing a black bandanna covering his face.
